Hike the Tomales Point Trail

This trail rambles along the crest of an open ridge as it follows an old ranch road northwest. It offers spectacular views of Tomales Bay, Bodega Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. Keep an eye out for the Tule Elk and their calves, who start arriving to the area in late May!

Spot Migrating pacific gray whales

During May, Pacific Gray whales pass through Northern California as they migrate from Baja to Alaska. Mothers and their calves swim close to shore during this leg of their journey, making them easier to spot.
